Life Could Be A Dream  June 8- August 26

Oregon Cabaret Theater

Previews June 6 & 7

Performances Wednesday-Monday @ 8:00 Sunday Brunch matinees @ 1:00

No performance July 4 but there will be a show on July 3

A delightful follow-up to last summer’s hit The Marvelous Wonderettes, this show (also by Roger Bean) introduces the Crooning Crabcakes, the boys banned from the Wonderettes’ prom, as they prepare to enter the Big Whopper Radio contest and realize their dreams of making it to the big time. Lois arrives to put some polish on the boys. Denny and Wally fall in love, Eugene falls apart, and along comes handsome heartthrob Skip to send the whole situation spinning. The ’60s doo-wop songs say it all: Fools Fall in Love, Tears on My Pillow, Runaround Sue, Earth Angel, Stay, Unchained Melody, Just Like Romeo and Juliet, Easier Said Than Done, Lonely Teardrops and The Glory of Love. Winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award.
“Perfect musical arrangements make this doo-wop musical infectious and a lot of fun!” Talkin’ Broadway

Oregon Cabaret Theater, a dinner theatre in a beautifully restored old church. The season is from February to December. OCT does Monday night performances! Fun, campy and entertaining — a couple of blocks from the Chanticleer Inn.
