"Next Stage Repertory" the newest theater in the Rogue Valley

The newest name in local theater is Next Stage, the Craterian’s exciting new acting company. Under the leadership of Stephen McCandless, executive director of the Craterian; Doug Warner, former producing director of Camelot Theatre; Peter Alzado, former artistic director of Oregon Stage Works; and Kate Sullivan, local actress and co-founder of Ashland Children’s Theatre.

Next Stage will focus on producing small cast plays that tell great stories, but that don’t typically require elaborate staging.

The company is committed to making professional theater as accessible as possible for the entire community, and all seats for the four plays in the inaugural 2011-2012 season will be just $10! So, spread the word, bring your friends, and come to the Craterian for the premiere performance of Talley’s Folly!

“Talley’s Folly (Sept. 8-10),” “The Decorator (Jan. 5-7),” “The Wild Guys” (March 22-31) and “Molly Sweeney” (May 31-June 2) — this season at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater.
