Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge dock from which we launch to tour about the refuge. 

No roads go out to the refuge: you get there on a narrow-gauge train (shown in the background). Board the train at La Union (a small village amid pineapple plantations) and take a slow and pleasant 5k ride through farms.
